Love Support is a condom campaign from RFSU. From every sold Love Support condom package, 5 SEK goes to an NGO in Zambia.
Zambia is a very poor country and is very badly affected by HIV/AIDS. A fifth of the population is HIV-positive and a generation of children is growing up as orphans, without education or knowledge on how to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies.
The campaign aims to increase the condom use of young people in the Nordic countries and at the same time direct attention to the situation in Zambia and give Nordic youth an opportunity to contribute.
Youth Vision works with education, information and advocacy regarding HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies. These issues are very difficult to discuss in Zambia, but are crucial in order to get a positive development. Youth Vision is a youth led organisation that works for young people.
The money will go to strengthening the work with young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights in Zambia. This will be done through education of the staff and volunteers of Youth Vision on how to communicate safe sex messages to youth and also to distribute condoms to young people.
